UK growers of reed bed plants (Phragmites australis, Common Reed). Reeds from Seeds have been specialising in these and other wetland marginal plants for bio filters, biodiversity and habitat creation since the early 1990's
Our production unit produces largely Phragmites australis (Common Reed) from plug plants up to 2 - 3 litre containerised plants. Reeds from Seeds also produce Iris psuedacorus (Yellow Flag Iris), Typha latifolia (Cattail, Bulrush, or Reedmace), several species of Sedge (Carex spps), Phalaris arundinacea (Canary Reed Grass), Lythrum salicaria (Purple Loosestrife). In addition we often have a small range of other wetland marginal plants for sale. Please ask if you have a particular requirement, we just may have it in stock!
Our customer base is large and small, we have never knowingly turned anyone away just because they want to place a small order. Of course economies of scale come with the larger order, but we try our best to accommodate allcomers. Our pricing is competitive, even we believe for smaller orders. The transport element of sending wet heavy plants to your address can often be more than the plants worth for the smaller orders. This is completely out of Reeds from Seeds control, and we can only apologise for the oil companies and the government tax situation!
Let us give you a quotation for the plants you require for your next project.
There are no published prices for plants on this website. We quote for the individual requirements. Please phone (0843 289 1015) or email us either by using the internet form on our Contact Us page, or email us using the link below.
Please note: You can buy plants by Debit Card, (debit cards are free! Credit cards or Company cards attract an additional 3% that the card company adds on.This charge is beyond our control at Reeds from Seeds, we will have to pass these charges onto you if want to pay by other than debit card.
If you are paying by card please phone us 0843 289 1015. We can take payment over the phone. (This keeps costs down to you the customer, rather than us have a shopping cart which incurs additional costs of its own, which have to be passed on).
